Chefs Under Fire 2010

The Final Competition of Chefs Under Fire 2010 took place in Austin, TX at The AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center on October 25th.  The Regional Champions battled it out in the kitchen trying to impress the Celebrity Chef Judges.

The contestants were judged by an esteemed Chef Panel: Chef David Bull of Congress Austin, Chef Mark Paul of Wink Restaurant and Chef Kent Rathbun of Kent Rathbun Concepts.

After an intense battle, Chef Christina Lee of Central Market Cooking School prevailed and was declared the winner of Chefs Under Chef 2010. The contestants were required to use four Go Texan products: Fresh Texas Red Gulf Snapper, Texas Sweet Potatoes, Texas Oranges and Swiss Chard.

Chef Lee was challenged by two other talented Texas chefs, Juan Rodriguez of Reata Restaurant and Erica Beneke of MAX’s Wine Dive Austin, winners of the Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin/San Antonio Regional Competitions.
